Y-NEX Training of Trainers in Barcelona
Categories: Y-NEX blogBarcelona – The ToT “MoJo, Media Literacy and Human Rights” took place from June 13th to June 17th in RTVE, Spanish RadioTelevision premises, in Barcelona, Spain.
The goal of this Tot was both to think critically about how MoJo can help fostering both Media Literacy and Human rights and to understand with and hands on approach how to apply MoJo for these purposes.
Participants from y-NEX, HRTV, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB, Spain), Zagreb University (Croatia), Telecentar (Croatia), Institute of Art, Design and Technology (Dublin, Ireland) and ATIT (Belgium) received a training by experts both from UAB and RTVE also took an active part in the training sessions.
The first day was entirely dedicated to a theoretical reflection and debate coordinated by José Manuel Perez Tornero and Laura Cervi,from the UAB; after that participants were divided into four groups, each one coordinated by an active professional working at RTVE, and were asked to develop a MoJo project (projects can be found HERE.
On the last day all the project were presented and participants, together with the experts, draw some conclusions on opportunities and difficulties.
